1. The Chunky Sandal
The Birkenstock-inspired sandals took to the Runway last Spring/Summer when Phoebe Philo took a few fur-wrapped ones to the Celine SS13 Collections. (Yes, fur in summer). The famed sandal took up many names - I've heard 'man-dal', 'Jesus sandals', 'sandals from the time of Jerusalem', the 'tourist shoe' and the most blunt of all 'the ugly shoe'. I'd disagree with the latter. Beauty is subjective after all. And what better sandal to tea, with the loose, wide-legged pant so popular this season. The real challenge is to team them up with something dressy. I wore my birkenstock-inspired pair (from Accessorize) last June (wow- that's almost 10 months ago! Take a look here)

2. The White Trainers
I'd go with the most classic of them all - the white Converse. Although I'm tempted to try out some cut-out ones too and I do like the ones from Opening Ceremony especially. Makes sense, cause they're the most expensive of the lot.

3. The Espadrille
I don't think this shoe will ever really go out of fashion to be frank. They're cheap, versatile and super comfy.

4. The Chunky Heel
With heels this season it's either super chunky or super thin (see next picture!). OR the chunky mule for a double dose of fashionable!

5. The Strappy, Laddered, Caged (Call them what you may) stiletto sandal and the super tiny strappy sandals.
Yummy. I wanted a pair of these last year. I actually had gotten a pair from ASOS, but the variety now is immense and awesome. Have your pick.
