#1 IN THE DEEP
An eminent trend is marine-oriented. But don't think navy blue and sailor collars, it was more about star fish than star ships. Fish sprawled across the fabric, undulating hems on dresses, seahorses and really, all sorts of sea creatures embellishing next season's clothing.
|VERSACE - mermaids, seahorses and shells on accessories.|
|CHANEL - even the catwalk was sea-oriented and Florence Welch sang out of an oyster.|
#3 The Peplum
I already wrote about the prominent return of the Peplum here.
(See my posts on prints here)
If worked well this trend can be worn by anyone! Not to mention a fun one. Stay away from wide prints if your waist or your hips aren't your best assets. If you're on the shorter side of the spectrum wearing vertical head to toe prints would make you look taller. Just stay away from contrasting, dividing lines as those will only shorten you. On the other hand, if you're vertically endowed wearing contrasting prints and textures create interest.
